In addition, the Little Building border booth, also known as border inspection booth provides the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Department (CBP) for the vehicle inspection system at both the Canadian and Mexican borders. Increasing the number of border inspection booths, or replacing old ones will improve the CBP’s capability to inspect travelers arriving at a Land Port of Entry, so-called a border station. By streamlining the inspection process, these enhancements reduce wait times and improve the overall efficiency of border crossings. This not only benefits commercial trade by ensuring timely deliveries but also enhances the travel experience for individuals crossing the border for personal or business reasons. Moreover, with advanced technology integrated into these new lanes and border booths, CBP officers can more effectively identify potential threats and contraband, thereby strengthening national security measures.
